Christine + Daniel | Napa Engagement

Last month I had a chance to experience and taste a bit of the Napa lifestyle where Christine and Daniel live and work. It wasn't just any engagement session for me but rather a gastronomic tour getting schooled on wine pairings with amazing cheeses and salumi. We got to shoot in some amazing boutique wineries and ended the night with a southern Italian meal in Napa's Old Town district.

If this was just a slice of the Napa good life then there's so much more in store for their late summer Napa wedding. I just. can't. wait.

I've known Jenny and Danny for years before they dated but it wasn't until a year ago that I really reconnected with them and learned how they got reacquainted on a more personal level. The more I think about it I'm surprised it hadn't happened sooner with these two unabashed lovers of the great outdoors.

Having been married a couple years, raising kids, and doing all these 'grown up' things 'til now I've had an opportunity to think about all these major life events and watching Jenny and Danny celebrate their wedding was a beautiful new chapter in their story together. Congrats!

Jack + Jill | Stanford Engagement

Jack and Jill went past Sand Hill to visit their alma mater.
whence Jill saw Jack on the Quad engaged in Brasil dance.
It was there she fell into a trance,
and Jack came tumbling after.

I'm truly excited for their Santa Cruz wedding overlooking the ocean and mountains later this summer!

Here are a few highlights from our afternoon:

May + Mo | San Francisco Maternity

I spent a wonderful afternoon in the Marina with May and Mo who were out visiting from Philadelphia - from the city of brotherly love to the city where they fell in love. The solar eclipse that afternoon provided some beautiful light and shadows for our maternity shoot. You certainly don't get that everyday.

I can't wait to meet the little one this fall. Congrats guys!
